Every Nation Melbourne North East (the Church), which includes its website everynation.org.au, is a not-for-profit organization committed to protecting your individual privacy as a volunteer or employee of the Church (Staff), or as a person attending our Church services, or as an online visitor to our website.

This Policy outlines how we collect and manage both personal information collected from our website and by the officers of the Church and Staff, and congregation members as part of carrying out our various operations, activities, events and conducting our Sunday Church services (together ‘Services’).

We respect the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you and adhere at all times to the Australian Privacy Principles.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

-telephone number;

-information you provide to us through our activities, events and Services we offer from time to time or through visits by our representatives; and

-we may also collect health information where it is reasonably necessary to provide our activities or events. This health information includes any food allergies / intolerances or other allergies (together ‘Personal Data’).

Any other Personal Data collected is only what is required to offer our Services, and is kept in secure storage and only accessible by our personnel who are required to have access to provide our Services.

 

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18 years of age unless it is provided to us by a parent or guardian in order that we may include the person under 18 years of age in Church organized events or activities. If we become aware that a child under 18 years of age has provided us with Personal Data without the knowledge or consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you are the parent or guardian of a person under 18 years of age and you believe they have provided us with Personal Data without your consent, then please contact us.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Personally Identifiable Information:

We use the information we collect to deliver our Services to you, including: communicating with you, notifying you of our Services, updates, events and activities, sharing useful content, to establish and maintain your involvement with the Church, and to enable us to diagnose any website problems. Any food allergies / intolerances or other allergies or health information is collected for consideration when providing our catering services and is only accessible by individuals associated with our Services who are under the same duty of privacy.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

We also use the information we collect in aggregated and anonymised forms to improve our Services, including: administering our website, producing reports and analytics, surveys, advertising our Services, identifying user demands and assisting in meeting your needs generally.

COMMUNICATION ABOUT OUR SERVICES

Communications about our Services are only sent to you if you have requested or subscribed to them. We offer information about our upcoming events, activities and Services which may be of interest and where we may ask for volunteer assistance. You can opt out of our communications at any time by emailing us or otherwise contacting us and your request will be actioned immediately.

STORAGE AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will use all reasonable means to protect the confidentiality of your Personal Data while in our possession or control. All information we receive from you is either stored and protected on our secure servers from unauthorized use or access or, in the case of any non-electronic data collection, is stored in a secure files. These files are only accessible by authorized persons who are under the same duty of privacy and confidentiality as we are under this Privacy Policy. In addition, they are only permitted to access Personal Data to assist with the provision of our Services. All destruction of any non-electronic Personal Data will be carried out in a secure locked disposal facility.

As we plan to ensure our that Privacy Policy remains current, it may be subject to change. We may modify this Policy at any time at our sole discretion, and all modifications will be effective immediately upon our posting of the modifications on the Church website.
